I love my little yellow apple tree. I cropped this to a square format and added some painterly layers.
I wanted the yellow apples to pop.
This was a quick grab shot I took last winter. I love the red barn against the white snow. I added a painterly layer and enhanced the red of the barn.

Love the barn shot! The painterly effect, which can often look overdone, is PERFECT for this, isn't it? It really enhances the snowy look. Lovely. --Carol Leigh
