Falling behind

I have missed a few weeks of my "Photomotovation" well 5 exactly. So, I'll try to make up for lost time.Topics I've  missed "Faces in unlikely places, Circles, Art from Art, Corners, Stripes". Lets see if I have any thing hiding behind my curtain.   OK  many hours later.....I found a couple for circles and stripes. See what you think!

 I'm  going to make a new blog so I can keep my photography separate  from  a few of my other life challenges. I'm not sure of a name yet but one will come ...in the middle of the night .....while I'm fast asleep, so I  may not remember in the morning anyway.  Till tomorrow!

 

Long time gone......

I can't believe the month of February is all most gone, March is just around the corner....Oh yes Spring.

This has been a very trying month for me medically. You realize just how fragile life is and yet how strong we can be! How patient, and the limit to your patients. When you make it, your still standing on the other side, It's all different and yet nothing has changed.....the only change was you. Rick said the other day if you want to know what it's like after your gone, just pull up a chair, close your eyes, and listen. Try it some time....it's most profound!

I received a spring garden full of flowers....Here are a few.

The sad news....I won't be able to make it to Texas for the Wedding.   My Sis has put her creative juice on over drive......Making  five bridesmaid dresses and has started her own CAKE co.  www.sweetcakeslady.blogspot.com Check out her cute cakes.   She's also sending me some very special cream to help my poor tummy when I get these beautiful staples out. Pictures....maybe or maybe not.

Back Home

Back home from CHA....Lots of  ideas to share in the paper craft world. Started the trip with a fun day at Disneyland. Rita and I were first timers.....Oh it's fun to be six for a day. Had pictures taken with Mickey to prove we were really there. Fun time had by all!  Now a bit of bad news...My new point and shoot (wonderful little camera) Well my pc is so out dated I can't down load my pictures and I filled a 2gig card. So pictures will be delayed until I solve this tiny problem.  So in the mean time here is another weather watch photo or two.

Off to LA

I'm heading down to California for  the CHA convention. I'm taking my new toy a point & shoot ... Canon Power Shot SX200IS. I needed something small to slip into a pocket, didn't want to have to worry about the big boy. Here are a few parting shots I took the other day. The clouds and the sky were fantastic. Be back in a week!

Edges ... This weeks challange

Edges ... what a great subject. They are everywhere you look. I'm a paper shuffler at work lots of edges to be found there.

I found some nice edges in the frame department.

Found another sign, thought it was cute. This was on my way to work......I've started taking different  routes to work.    It's been fun training myself to look and see the possibilities.

 It was dark and misty today, making photography a bit challenging, but the girls are always willing subjects.  Oh maybe they think I'm bringing more food!

Great morning ...Lots of finds

Playing catch up... I missed getting these posted yesterday.  I found more warning signs on my way to work. Having lots of fun exploring. Most of my images are drive by shots.

My first stop was at recycle. Like the glass only sign!

These two were taken from the parking lot where I work. The second is hard to read but, says No skateboarding.

Rain today so did a couple of drive by shots. The first one is a big red barn just outside of Alsea.  The second I found in Corvallis a couple blocks from work. "Man Cave" could be a warning sign!

 

Photomotivation

I signed up for a motivational kick in the kester.  This weeks assignment  is warning signs. This is my first shot taken on our way home from Philomath. We stopped for gas and there it was right in front of me.   Yahoo!

First day of 2010.....Rain!

New Year and I'm going to work hard at posting everyday. We had a boat load of rain here in Alsea, so what to shot. I got flowers for my birthday, OK some window light.

So now I'm just going to put my feet up, sip a little tea and do a little reading. Great start to the New Year.
